All coaches are required to have up to date Garda Vetting and Safeguarding information on file with the club. Please email completed documents for these to office@swordscelticfc.ie

Steps for Garda Vetting

  1. Login or Sign-up for FAI MyComet (https://faiconnect.ie/mycomet/)
  2. Click “Events”
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the events and click “Start” on the “Garda Vetting applications Leinster 2024” event and follow the steps
  4. Print first page of the “Garda Vetting ID Validation Form” linked below
  5. Fill out “Section 1” applicant details
  6. Bring form to Swords Celtic FC office to be signed by club
  7. Scan/take picture of the completed form and upload to FAI MyComet
  8. When your Garda vetting clears: Email the document that you receive to office@swordscelticfc.ie

Steps for Safeguarding

  1. Login or Sign-up for FAI MyComet (https://faiconnect.ie/mycomet/)
  2. Click “Events”
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the events and click “Start” on one of the “Safeguarding 1” events that you are able to attend
  4. Complete the Safeguarding course
  5. Email your Safeguarding certificate that you receive to office@swordscelticfc.ie
